We have the bug!

The good kind! Halle got to spend some time with us today- She was a good girl, driving to Logan and back. When we got home it was bedtime so we gave her a bath and put her to bed.  She was absolutely devastated that we didn't watch a movie with her first so we got her up and put in Toy Story- which she LOVED!  She also loved eating popcorn and drinking Crystal light with her Grandpa.  Finally, she couldn't keep her eyes open and just zonked out.  What a cute little bug!

Halle's habit

Halle really is a lady of leisure.  She can't eat unless she is leaned back with one foot up on her tray.  Even in restaurants, she loves just kickin' back and putting her feet up.  After awhile, she'll pull her foot down, shift and then up goes the other foot!  What a coconut!

Random acts of cuteness

Will gets the cutest rosie cheeks.  He gives me a call from time to time to say NANA?! and he kisses the phone.  I love it!

He went to NYC to see his dad.  It was a big trip for a little guy. He's been to Hawaii too.  He is a frequent flyer already!

 

Halle went to Nursery with me and had to sit in the doll stroller for snack time because she's too tiny for the tiny chairs! Not too tiny for the cookies!

Getting caught up with the latest and greatest-

Hal was a little fussy this afternoon-
She is trying to cut those two front teeth. Ouch! So Auntie Kenzie saved the day by telling me about these two great treats for teethers. We went straight to the store and sure enough- Halle loved the treats.

All Halle wants to do all day is to crawl around chasing Sammy yelling

"Dooog", "Dooog", "Dooog"!

She LOVES Sammy and so-

Sammy shall remain part of the family.  Just because of her.

Beyond the bugs...

We enjoyed Beautiful day at the Zoo! Wills was happy to show Halle the ropes since he is a pro at the zoo excursions. I was sad that all the bears were gone and there is no longer a butterfly exhibit. It shouldn't be a surprize since a haven't been to the zoo in years! There was a super cute baby elephant named Zuri that made the whole trip worth it! Plus just being with these cute little bugs is always such a treat!

Move over green smoothie girl- it's green smoothie baby!

No matter who is drinking one, she is mooching.

Halle's healthy high-

My grandbabies are kind of little shrimpies!

Will's ball rolled under the armoire so he simply crawled under to get it!

He's 18 months old but a little on the little side!

His nickname is "mini munchkin" - "mini munch" for short.

Halle has struggled with the growing thing right from conception!

Now at one year, she still only weighs 14 pounds.

Since that is down from what she weighed at 9 months, the

doctor insisted on running some tests to see why she isn't growing.

  It turns out she just needs lots and lots more Vitamin D!

We affectionately call her "the bug".

We thought it would be so fun to take the babes to meet the
 Easter Bunny.  Disaster! 

They surley will need counseling.  And who can blame them?

This bunny looks like something out of a horrer movie.

Welcome Spring!

We had the best time at Wheeler Farm with Wills and Halle and Auntie Abbie!

The babies were very leary of the animals at first,

 but they eventually warmed up to them-

 as long as they weren't too close.

 We are so ready for Spring!

And nothing says Spring like lots of baby animals.

Adorableness at it's best!

She is so cute and smart and funny!

Here are some of her new talents-

She is learning how to sign and can sign:

DOG, ALL DONE & MORE, MORE, MORE

She waves goodbye.

She dances- and seriously, it's the cutest thing ever!

She claps her hands.

She immitates her cousin CoCo, recently picking up thumb sucking.

(Maybe CoCo will potty train early and Whitney will have it made!)

She twirls her feet & hands when she is happy to see someone.

She eats quesadillas, spagetti and pizza.

She holds the phone to her ear and says "Hi"

She loves her blankie and is starting to silk- where did she learn that?

It is so fun to see these little personalities developing!

They are my joy each and every day!

Nana date night

In January I implimented "Nana Date Night". The theory is that every Saturday night, Taylor & Kenzie and Dustin  & Whitney go out and leave the babies with Nathan and I.  We are off to a slow start, but hopefully these parents will soon realize how selfish they are being and start letting me have my fair share of the babies-

(Seriously you guys!  Get a life!)
