This week is pioneer day. Having done a pretend trek a few years ago, I further appreciate the sacrifices that the pioneers went through to practice their religious beliefs. And I know for a fact that I would not have made a good pioneer. Not that I don't have a testimony, but I'm sure I would have opted for plan B as opposed to traveling across the wilderness and dealing with the challenges of pioneer life.

Dustin and I were laughing about how I would have been one of the ones to say "ok you guys go ahead, I will hold down the fort here until things pick up again!" I wouldn't have lasted a day!
